ABOUT THE PROJECT

A bold launch for a legendary arrival.

To celebrate the arrival of Kagurabachi in France with Kana, we imagined a four-part campaign blending tradition and modernity. It all began with a surprise reveal at Japan Expo 2024, where fans discovered, live and loud, that the hit manga was finally coming to France.


Then came a full-day immersive experience in Marseille with 10 content creators: personalized katanas, sword-cutting sessions, sushi-making with world champion Éric Ticana, and ninja training, a deep dive into Kagurabachi’s world.

Next, we took it further with a FOOH activation where streamer Pape San appeared to slice through the Place de la Concorde live on Twitch, ending with a visit to Fnac todiscover the manga in-store. Finally, a launch party in Paris brought everything together with sword demos, immersive activities, and a Japanese buffet – a true celebration of the title’s arrival. 
The result? A smash hit: 12,000 copies sold in just 3 days. Proof that when a viral Japanese success meets a bold, creative campaign, the impact is instant.
