For the launch of the new manga Kagurabachi, Kana Editions partnered with Hype Notice, a creative agency specialized in pop culture marketing, to design a high impact promotional campaign.
The goal was to transform a traditional manga release into a memorable, immersive and viral experience, capable of pushing the title to the center of online trends.
During a weekend near Marseille, ten carefully selected influencers — including Papesan (700K followers) and Mademoiselle Soso (150K followers) — were immersed in the manga’s universe through a series of custom activities:
cutting braided ropes with a sword
a sushi making workshop
personalized katana gifts
Each activity was designed to generate engaging social media content while strengthening the connection between the audience and the manga’s universe.
