Berlin-based eyewear company MYKITA pull the covers off of its Spring/Summer 2012 collection. At the heart of the new developments is the use of a new material, Mylon. The collection presented here positions itself as a luxury sports fashion line, which according to MYKITA will help create an all new silo that merges the sensibilities of both fashion and performance. The use of Mylon ensures both lightweight comfort and a degree of adaptability to the wearer’s face which will bode well for activities such as golf. Several models will use Zeiss-developed lenses specifically catering to “hipster golfers,” as MYKITA likes to put it.
