Brazilian artist Andre Muniz Gonzaga is a street artist who is recognized for his paintings on irregular surfaces including large-scale rocks and cracked surfaces. His portraits on degraded and porous surfaces take place in site specific public spaces. Andre Muniz Gonzaga also creates works on canvas, however his rock portraits stand out because of their unusual contrasting effect of painting on the shape and texture of a stone or irregular surface.
