In the small town of Polignano o Mare, on the southern coast of Italy lives this wonderful natural secluded limestone cave which is a now transformed into an exclusive hotel and restaurant with a unique dining experience. With about twenty rooms located on the cliff tops overlooking the town, the Grotta Palazzese offers a fantastic view of Mediterranean sea while dining at it’s restaurant. The restaurant is only open during the summer, thus it’s nickname ‘The Summer Cave’.
